It honestly feels like the wildfires that affected our area was ages, not just months ago – time seems to fly. We’re thrilled to see the hills affected in the Napa Valley are bursting forth green, lush and gorgeous. The town of Napa didn’t lose a single building and is bustling with activity of the holidays. The Napa Valley floor and its hundreds of wineries were untouched and open for business! The vineyards and wineries are as beautiful as ever now.
We had so much to be thankful for this “Thanksgiving.” While we know friends who lost so much, we were able to help. When possible we provided rooms for those who lost their homes. We also hosted 106 room nights for our PG&E linemen and admin staff.
"Our family and close friends spent Thanksgiving 2017 in Napa with 4 rooms at the Beazley House. We were treated like long lost family. Staff was engaging and caring, with everyone taking so much pride in the experience. Carol and Jim helped out with (the always wonderful) breakfast during the week and were fascinating to talk to. In the evenings there was more wine as we took over the living room for cards and drinks. Everything was accommodating and we were perfectly cared for. You will love your stay there, just like we did!" -Jack B
The Napa Valley Film Festival was a smash success this November! So was our 13th annual Napa B&B Holiday Tour and Taste event held the first weekend of December. This sellout tour featured seven inns and Capp Heritage’s Deco lounge wine tasting room. More than 450 guests toured the Beazley House, most of them returning year after year.
The Napa Valley Film Festival and the Holiday Tour aren’t the only annual events the Napa Valley gets to enjoy. The Napa Truffle Festival is January 12th – 15th, 2018. This is the 8th annual event that brings together two complementary aspects of European truffles. Truffles are one of the world’s most delectable foods and you can enjoy them for yourself at this event.
The ever-popular Napa Valley Marathon is scheduled for March 4th, 2018. This 40th annual event will be helping the recovery from the wildfires by donating entry fees, registration fees and accepting donations. There’s a whole weekend of fun events to enjoy along with the marathon including vendors that will offer tastes of Napa’s premium wine and beer. This is a great way to enjoy the beauty the Napa Valley has to offer in March!
"They held a wine tasting on the Friday night of our stay led by the owners of the winery. Fascinating evening listening to the vintner discuss the wine business. My wife and I loved this place. I felt it was the highlight of our stay in Napa." -K Koch
The most creative month in Napa is in April with Arts in April. This is a month long celebration to promote local talent to the community and visitors with live music, art fairs & exhibitions, storytelling, theatre performances, culinary arts, and hands on activities.
In May we enjoy the sensation of what is Bottlerock Napa Valley! Holiday pre-sale tickets will be available on December 12th and the lineup will be announced on January 8th. This is a festival over Memorial weekend and celebrates an amazing line up of music, food, wine and brew.
The Beazley House currently has just a few rooms still available for these events. If you’re interested in attending these popular celebrations, be sure to contact us at 800.257.1649 to make your reservations. You can check availability HERE.
"Everything we could have hoped for - this perfectly situated B&B is a few minutes walk from downtown Napa. The innkeepers are warm and friendly and the breakfasts are delicious. The room was large and comfortable (we were in the carriage house "Enchanted Rose" room) and the gardens are beautiful. After days of wine tasting this was a wonderful place to call home." -Jonathan C, Kent OH
We are so thankful that the Beazley House and Napa Valley were virtually unscathed by the wildfires and we’re looking forward to hosting you soon.
Wishing you and all those close to you... a joyous holiday season, a new year of happiness, and hope for a world at peace.
