It's become a New Year's tradition of sorts in Napa: New restaurants open and CHANGE is the only constant. 

This 2014 sees Main street ushering in a pair of new hot spots and a new vision for the old Napa Valley Opera House. 


TORC (rhymes with Pork) is a contemporary, high-energy American restaurant with global influences. A local gathering place to meet up with friends and catch up on news and events, TORC exudes a spirit of community. Definately NOT boring. (sorry should have resisted) 

TORC focuses on the region’s bountiful selection of fresh products and relationships with the people that produce, forage, and glean them.

Napkins Bar + Grill has opened to crowds of thirsty, curious natives looking for a place at once familiar and all new. The pictures above the bar show old Napa and the "back bar" is pure Star Wars Blue.

This brand new Bar + Grill, situated in the heart of downtown Napa offers a straightforward yet sophisticated menu of American cuisine with a global influence. Even late into the night, you can to watch the game at the bar, enjoy cocktails and small bites.

Napa's 135 year old Opera House has proved to have more lives than a cat! 

Starting in April, the City Winery at the Napa Valley Opera House will open with cabernet style seating replacing the rows of seats in the 2nd story theater and Napa Valley food and wine combined with the hottest names in entertainment.
