hen we moved here in 1981 the old Oak presided over a wild scene: a squat palm tree, stuck in the middle of a vast, empty field of weeds. An unruly Apple tree was on one side with a scrub Oak and scrawny plum on the other. It was only a backyard. Now it is a lush garden.
