Some of Beazley House rooms are dog friendly; all have free wireless Internet access, HDTV’s, upscale amenities, plush robes, CD players, clock radios and private baths.
The Beazley House is Napa’s first bed and breakfast Inn - in Historic Downtown Napa of Napa Valley California. Jim & Carol Beazley opened the downtown Napa bed and breakfast in 1981, they’re still the innkeepers. The current Carriage House was built to replicate the original Carriage House and completed in 1983. Jim & Carol created 5 rooms all with their own entrances, gas fireplaces and two-person spa tubs. The Carriage House is surrounded by glorious gardens. The five private hideaway romantic rooms have views of trees and flowers from every window.
By 1989 all of the B&B’s 11 guest rooms had private baths, including the historic mansion’s rooms. Construction within the historic Napa mansion was challenging. The Beazley’s strove to maintain the original feel while accommodating today’s Napa traveler’s needs. Private baths were cleverly be fitted into the existing bedrooms and all per Napa County building codes and regulations.
Carol and Jim continue to personally manage the inn. They are constantly making upgrades and changes to the property to maintain the best bed and breakfast in Napa. In fact they have been voted Best B&B by locals and listeners of KVON & KVYN radio over 17 times.
Beazley House’s location is a perfect “home base” in which to explore wineries, vineyards, restaurants, and picturesque Napa Valley. Located in an Historic Napa downtown neighborhood, the B&B is just a short walk from the newly revitalized downtown Napa riverfront. The Napa Valley Opera House, the Napa Valley Wine Train, fine dining, shopping and Napa’s Oxbow Market are all within walking distance.
